Hayley joined Montgomery Scarp & Chait as a trial lawyer in 2017. Prior to joining Montgomery Scarp & Chait, Hayley practiced criminal law throughout Washington State, bringing with her a wealth of jury trial and negotiation experience.
Hayley is admitted to the Washington State Bar, the Western District of Washington, and the Puyallup Tribal Bar. She currently concentrates in civil litigation with an emphasis on railroad law, Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA), and Jones Act litigation, from initial discovery through trial.
Hayley received her undergraduate degree from Central Washington University in business and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seattle University School of Law. During law school, she worked at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and interned at the Allen Institute for Brain Science. She also represented clients at the Ronald A. Peterson Law Clinic.
When not at work, Hayley enjoys gardening, backpacking, paddle-board crabbing and spending time with her husband and her two dogs – Rue and Cedar.
